Located at the Pound Ridge Montessori School in Pound Ridge, NY, little FAUVES gives children hands on art appreciation experiences inspired by beautiful art and intriguing artists. Founded by Grainne Bellotti (BFA, MAT, Montessori Certified) in 2006, little FAUVES has become a favorite summer camp for children in Northern Westchester and Fairfield Counties. Grainne started little FAUVES summer camp as a way to share her passion for art history and appreciation with children in a fun, free, friendly atmosphere and 20 years later it's still a favorite for her and so many new and returning young artists.
Every summer is different. Children might learn about Ancient Art or Contemporary Art, they might create Mobiles inspired by Dale Chihuly or Fairy Houses inspired by Irish art. No matter what the theme, the children always get to express themselves through multi-media art projects and experiences while having tons of fun with friends-indoors and out! Everyday at little FAUVES camp we make art, make friends and have summertime FUN!
